Automotive Telematics

Imsys products are used in a wide variety of applications with basically one least common denominator - Connectivity. The high level platform offered by Imsys makes it very easy to define and design a connected device. The processor and/or modules from Imsys contains all elements of an embedded system, including file system, operating system, TCP/IP stack and web server.

For the automotive telematics application the processor, a GPS module and a GPRS modem constitutes an intelligent node in for example a fleet management system. The use of Java on the platform translates into connectivity, customer customization and secure management of applications.
