Microprocessors

The IM3000 is a microcontroller suitable for Internet appliances, especially where memory size, component count, and power consumption must be kept low. The Imsys' technology has three distinct advantages. Its reconfigurable architecture allows new peripheral functions to be synthesized and downloaded as microcode. Its field programmable microcoded architecture, allows the creation of custom instruction sets well suited for the mobile and data communications applications. This results in very efficient, low power operation. One version has been configured to execute Java byte code and does so with unprecedented efficiency. TCP/IP acceleration and encryption acceleration are included in the existing configuration libraries.

The product is lead-free and available in a BGA-180 package.

Imsys IM1000

It is a product on a higher level than a microprocessor. It is a platform, optimized for executing Java byte codes, separates the application developer from the internals of the microprocessor. Featuring 40 MB/s I/O throughput capacity and IEEE 754 Floating Point arithmetics, makes it superior for networked telematic applications.

The product is lead-free and available in two packages:

• LQFP (not for new design)
• SSBGA.
