Installation instructions

• Download snap1.0.9.zip file.
  • Unpack snap1.0.9.zip file.
  • Upgrade your SNAP to 1.0.9 (see instructions in the file “doc/index.html”). It is recommended that you reformat the flash and do a clean install of the firmware.
  • Boot the SNAP with the 1.0.9 release and execute the following commands:
    • mkdir /dev
    • mknod /dev/rda0 b 0x400 0
  • Download imdev60_setup.zip file.
    • Unpack imdev60_setup.zip file.
    • Run setup.exe.
  • Download devsnap1.0.9.zip file.
    • Unpack devsnap1.0.9.zip file.
    • Run setup.exe.
  • Install parallel port driver
    • Follow the instructions found in /Program Files/Imsys/Imsys Developer/drivers/Parport/Win2000/readme.txt
    • Make sure that the parallel port settings in the BIOS is set to ECP .
  • Install trace adapter between parallel port and SNAP module.
  • Imsys developer is now installed.
  • Start Imsys developer by clicking on the developer icon on the start menu.
  • Setup java compiler in Edit->Options
  • Setup parallel port to ECP in Edit->Options
